Anyway Spook did you take up the Link Offer of a Brand new Launch day edition Playstation 4 from Shopto.net or did you bottle it and decide to spend £250 on a upgraded Graphic Card for that Metal Box or what ?

I was sorely tempted to get the PS4 Killzone/365 PSN offer but what puts me off is:

a) lack of release day games that actually appeal
b) Killzone is okay but it's not GTA V
c) there will be bugs and lots of problems
d) at the moment I don't feel I really need it!
e) cost of games is very high right now (£50)

BF4 seems to be running much smoother now and I've put in a good 25 hours or so since I started playing this week so I don't think I'm in desperate need of a new graphics card as I had initially feared.

So, my non-existent funds are safe for now. Mind you there's a few things I wouldn't mind for my PC: new SSD, GFX card but most of all a NAS perhaps with 4 (2TB) hard drives for RAID 10. Ooh baby. Yeah.

You know i was saying to my mate who is upgrading if it wasn't for Killzone Shadowfall and the games like Resogun you can download from the store for free there would be little point rushing to get one.

but I'm happy and within 3 months there will be plenty of other stuff that looks really cool like the delayed watchdogs and Infamous Second Son and a lot of others we will be hearing about.

Killzone will have me playing for months i know that and there will be games on the store each week,Launch consoles have never been known for a multitude of choice,obviously at first it would have been pretty decent but with Watchdogs then Drive club delayed its a little thin on the ground and Killzone on the Playstation 4 is the saving grace as everything else basically is on the older generation .

saying that i expect games like Ghosts and Battlefield to look way better��..Whats your thoughts Spook on Battlefield 4 after spending that amount of hours on it.

I have emptied and got one of my big gaming plastic boxes already to change the TV Stand configuration around.

I have decided the DVD player can get boxed along side the Playstation 3,the Playstation 4 is going to take pride of place on the top shelf all on its own with Sky HD and the Bose sound system going on the bottom one.

Yeah you and me both regarding Killzone next Friday and those lucky Americans,going to be Saturday really mate before we get any decent user thoughts and opinions because of the time zone and the fact there's a 5 to 10 hours behind scenario in America depending on which state you live.

The last thing I want is displeasure but I doubt this is going to happen because I can not see any reason why I won't like this based on the way it seems to play and the fact it looks drop dead gorgeous and leagues ahead of previous Killzone games which I also loved with a passion.
