May be there is a market in doing crazy stuff because it seems there are plenty of crazy people out there who are willing to buy the clapped out junk after the destruction.

That guy was a total dick. I think he should just microwave himself next time.

Having said that it's a good way to get money back if people are stupid enough to give you money for destroying electrical goods.

My digital camera needs a service. I could a) send it in for repair and pay or b) melt it in a microwave and make loads of money or c) do nothing and pretend the problem isn't there.

Normal people don't have the choice to act like spoilt [censored], which, from an environmental and social viewpoint, is just as well really. Perhaps he should audition to work with Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear? They'd be good together.
