I am not a fan of exclusives for the record, isnt good for the market. Isnt good for consumers for sure.

But that game is most defenitly not 8bit, a game doesnt need to be a FPS to be modern. FPS is just one single genre.

I cant think why you defending paying sony/microsoft to pay multiplayer, its a clear ripoff. Dont let brand loyalty blind you on that.

Variety in games would be brilliant and again there are to many Fps on the market and a lot of them are complete trash,but I'm lucky in that respect because it just happens to be my favourite type of game.

Generally anything that involves shooting stuff is what i like,so thats not just the run of the Mill FPS ,it should be watchdogs,infamous second son and a load of other type of games.

Hate anything Sport related and i don't do driving games either.

Yeah we pay now for the online service on the Playstation 4 and yeah its not exactly fair that PC gamers don't have to,but its £40 a year about 0.80 p a week that don't even buy half a cup of coffee at Costa or a loaf of bread.

We also get plenty of free games each month and the price if the subscription is given back 10 fold.

Not for long I've had a word with Sony and they have assured me anybody that don't upgrade the fee for the playstation 3 will be £60.

Its clever business, both microsoft (and now sony) know people who play multiplayer will pay regardless.

I paid for xbox live gold occasionally when could grab a deal like eg. sometimes £1 month. I cant justify it at normal price tho but I dont play multiplayer console games, and its rare on the pc, last multiplayer game I played on pc was hearthstone. I played the ff14 beta on the ps3 but I am not a big fan of mmo games got bored of it.

I had a choice when I subscribed on the PS3. Nobody forced me to do it, but I could see it was a value service. I've had loads of free games over the last eighteen months. If people don't want to pay for online they don't have to. They can vote with their feet and buy a PC and play for free.

of course it sems only you can turn a discussion about paying for multiplayer to paying for the ps3 service which isnt a multiplayer service, just to create an argument. Brilliant, I guess that makes you happy.

What a load of drivel, it's absolutely relevant.

If you were to argue that Activision should have supplied free dedicated servers, seeing as they published one of the biggest most successful games available, you may have a point. But your overwhelming sense of entitlement to an online service is laughable. You don't deserve and haven't earned anything. You just bought a game. If you don't like the game don't buy it. If you can get a better deal on a different platform, buy that platform. If the PS+ service didn't offer free games, I wouldn't have subscribed. It does, so I did. There are free to play models available at launch that will not require a PS+ subscription, but then they will charge for content. You pay your money, you takes your pick. When the Utopian gaming network launches, I will happily join you there. We can all hold hands and skip freely through the digital daffodils.

And for the record, I'm not winding anybody up. You are obvious in your ambition. If you buy a console you are apparently a brand fanboy. If you buy both, you are a console fanboy. If you subscribe to either network, you are no doubt a scab. I'm not ratty, I just don't have time for that sort of nonsense. You are the one that does not seem to have time to live and let live. SPOOK is a graphics who're and loves his PC, but openly and honestly admits the frustrations of PC gaming. Toady is PC through and through and actually publishes videos of himself playing various games. That commitment deserves respect.

I find it hard to respect the opinions of a gamer that seems to have nothing positive to say...ever.

when is the ps4 released here?

is odd the ps4 was first in america but the xbox one is first here.
