I'm 40 now and though that's still spring chicken territory as far as old duffers like Timey are concerned, it really does make me think where did all that time go? My eyesight was shot by the time I was 24 I think. Though it's nowhere near as bad as Timey's....

As it's early days still I guess you and your son will rapidly improve in COD Ghosts. Is it a decent effort would you say and have you tried BF4 yet? It is somewhat concerning though I have to say. It's hard for me to judge cos I don't have a console and I play cra.p most of the time anyhow.

My K/D ratio has improved a bit but it's too early to have a lasting effect on my overall stats. I know the feeling tho, all too well. I don't think there's a kill cam as such in BF4: if it's enabled the player who killed you goes red in colour and it shows you where he was - no replay tho.

Spent 5 hours on me Wii U tonight playing Zelda Windwalker HD ,the games about 10 years old and its still draws me in like playing it for the first time and it looks 10 times better,Nintendo controller don't have to much life though,even worse than the new playstation 4 duel shock that last a mere 4 hours.

Haha. I enjoyed that Zelda game I played on the SNES. It's cool you're enjoying it so much in HD glory on the Wii U. It's nice to play games of these types. They're not as stressful as say, I dunno, BF4!!!?? Hehe.

Blacklight Retribution.

You can see everybody's latency live, next to their points on the scoreboard. You can actually watch it fluctuating. You can see that the highest pingers (usually only one or two in a game. say 600-900 ms) struggle to score kills and usually have a negative KD. Overall however, the lobby's are fairly evenly matched latency wise. This is a Beta mind, and things could change, but I have never had such a level playing field. I am top half if not top three in most games and can actually rack up streaks. And it seems from the scoreboard that most players are the same, other than that high ping guy that always manages to get in.

It does have some proper lag/warping/sliding through walls going on in the odd game, but you can normally see the high pings when it happens and just leave, but overall it is very balanced. Yet some people are claiming that it is broken and doesn't work. I wonder if they used to get really good KD's and have now been found out by a decent attempt at matchmaking?

Well mate if you like that game its a sad state of affairs given you have Killzone and Battlefield on your Playstation 4.

I played it and within minutes deleted it of my precious hard drive space because my personal thoughts of the game couldn't be printed on these forums.

Played a Battlefield 4 game tonight 64 players and it ran as sweet as a nut,so did the quick test i did in Killzone which was a 24 player team death match,no lag,no slowdown,and plenty of kills

But after that i went back to Zelda since there was little happening on the Playstation 4 and the fact you were playing that free excuse for a FPS
