What you say is absolutely true but still, I thought it was a bit cheeky. I'm not a fan of in-game payments and think it's a bit of a slippery slope. I read they've managed the micro transaction element quite well - as you say, non-essential but all the same.

I agree. I do not like the idea of micro transactions at all and will not use them.
