new IPs are good but they take longer to do.

They can do both in my opinion.

Looking at nintendo's history the amount of zelda games per gen, its fair to say so far the wii-u has been hard done by, I suspect less effort was put into the wii-u they were riding on the back of the wii's success assuming they would have 3rd party support climbing all over it.

When I say back catalogue I dont mean hd remakes, I mean just emulated in their native graphics, possibly upscaled with anti aliasing.

In reply to a post by time2die:
If they can put Wind Waker in HD on the Wii U then they could bring all the Zelda games on the Wii u plus games like Mario Sunshine and the Metroid Prime games and a whole host of games from the Nintendo back catalogue .

I would rarther see new IPs and brand new Zelda games but some of there previous classics would not be a bad thing.

I seen some clips of the proper wii-u zelda game and it does look pretty good indeed. due this year.

Im playing Skyward Sword at present which is only 2 years old but is brilliant, its not in HD though and the 10 year old Wind Waker looks miles better but skyward sword is possibly the best Zelda game ever.

thanks, shame nintendo games never seem to drop in price. --edit-- found the normal one for £20 still a bit high for an old game but ordered, and the nunchuck.

How much did you get it for?
