I got one of the foil-cards from a random booster-pack (which you occasionally get for playing games on Steam), and it sold within a few minutes for just over £2. That also went towards some DLC, can't remember which!

I just dont see the point of them - it just adds bloat to Steam (and it's already bad enough - the community area is complete and utter mess), and all you can do with them is try and flog 'em to some idiot - or look at them (not the idiot, the card).

i think the idea is that the higher rank you are the faster/more cards drop so bit like a carrot and donkey. Bet the kids love it.

I dont know whether kids like it or not - no-one seems to mention it...

You will get half the cards from playing the game and the others is either trading or buying to get the achievement, its just a further expansion on the in-game achivement.
