Looks better every time i see it.

Think this is out 4 days before Watchdogs..But I'm greedy and want them all crazy

I agree. It does look good but I definitely would want to see the reviews first before buying. But Watchdogs has got to be a no-brainer!

And the news is GTA5 is coming to PC and next gen consoles in the summer. We've had these rumours before but I'd love to see it running on proper next gen hardware.

Also, no one is interested in ESO then? I mean, I guess it's currently only out for the PC at the minute and it's pay monthly but no one has mentioned it. Not even Herr Toady der uber PC enthusiast.

I presume you are talking about Elder Scrolls Online and not the European Space Observatory? If its the former, then its not really my sort of game. If its the latter then, I cant afford to visit it..

You've no interested in Elder Scrolls stuff then mate? I am a big geek for it but I'm less sure on ESO. WoW never really appealed to me but ESO is tempting as it's been so long since we've had a new Elder Scrolls fix.

I just don't fancy the online element of it. I wanted to play Skyrim but the save problems on the PS3 put me off. I do quite fancy that Kingdom sword fighting first person adventure that was Kickstarter funded. I forget the name now.

WoW always appeared a bit too dungeons a dragons for me, but Skyrim looked like something I might have enjoyed. smile

Take it from me if you have little time then Skyrim is not for you,you can actually spend the first hour customising your character .

Besides it's a game that requires a very large amount if time and patience ,and on that count that's me out.

indeed, and this is coming from a rpg fan.

I think the elder scrolls games are huge time sinks with what is a lot of repetitive quests as well. For rpg's they are complex and big.

I brought oblivion, skyrim and morrowmind.

So far I have not even beat oblivion yet, morrowmind and skyrim both still sealed.

I've tried to play them but I can not get into them,I watch the videos and think that the games look great so I tend to buy them and try to alter my gaming habits but I'm just into certain types of games only and these type of games are not for me.

Yeah mate - if you enjoy story driven quests, beautiful landscapes and scenery then Skyrim is pretty good and I've just started playing it through for a third time.

I wouldn't call Skyrim a complex or complicated game but it does have some depth to it. If you're the type of person who likes to read a little lore and mix your own potions and craft your own gear and sell stuff then this is basically the game's main mechanic other than dungeon/fort looting dragon/monster/bandit killing type stuff.

On the PC there are loads of good mods that are easy to install thanks to the Steam Workshop thing. I'd like to install the other stuff, the Skyrim UI thing, but I messed it up and couldn't be bothered to try it again but the rewards for better graphics are enormous. I think I may have been a little harsh with my feelings that graphics haven't really progressed all that much over the years.

Skyrim, like Oblivion, offers loads: you can pick and choose the bits you like but it will probably draw you in to a broader range of activities. You can complete the main storyline pretty quickly but it's all the diversions that truly get you into the heart of the place and that's where the real rewards are.

Yeah, I'm still not sure about doing all that online. I've read a bit about it and it looks like the sheer number of players in an area are destroying the original feel of the game for many: it's meant to be you and a small band of companions alone in a vast wilderness in the main not a Saturday afternoon melee at a footy match back in the late 80s. Never played WoW or any other MMO before: didn't like the sound of grinding but Skyrim has plenty of that too I guess. If you wanna equip yourself better, you gotta do the time and grind.
