A pint of beer or a cinema ticket are barometers for me. I'd much rather get 10 hours out of a game than an hour and a half out of a movie (for damn nearly a tenner round these parts

I don't care about replayability for forty five quid, though historically I've rarely paid more than forty anyway. I do care if the game is laggy as hell (for whatever reason) or buggy as Toady says. Timey is right about supporting the industry, especially if you want to keep it creative. Opting out because you can't or won't justify the funds is fair enough, but you can't call games rip offs willy nilly.
What's funny is that everybody raves about BF and it's multiplayer, yet BF4 was and in some areas still is, a mess. I don't want to play a buggy game, so I certainly wouldn't want to replay a buggy game.
That's why games like Watchdogs and DriveClub should be well worth the extra wait I reckon.
