I can see the difference between 720 and 1080 just as I can with a TV screen. I have Magoo eyesight, so you are either blind, are still trying to compare those [censored] compressed YouTube videos, or have some other point you are trying to prove.

Take Toadys videos. They all look pants definition wise, but in reality they're not. In true 1080 the difference is very easily perceptible.

Back in the day no one used to complain about graphics when we were all playing on low end PC's and SNES / Mega Drives / Atari's. Everyone used to just enjoy playing the games and talking about the games they were playing. Now there is this huge divide in gaming between PC and console and it's boring the hell out of me. When did graphics become the upmost importance in games? Give me a game with a killer gameplay experience over graphics any day of the week.

There are some good people on here but I am sick to the back teeth of people just saying "wahhhhhh pc is better" "wahhhhh console is better"

Just enjoy the bloomin' games people this is why I now frequent xbox gaming forum more so at least I don't have to read the same stuff everyday.

And to further add to my post I have a great gaming pc and the Xbox One and I love gaming on both of them. The PC has wicked graphics but the Xbox is a lot easier to just flick on and have a quick game of something. There is a lot more variety and particularly a lot more to play with friends.

For me gaming is a fun experience and a sociable one. I often have friends around so we sit and play Xbox Arcade games or things like Trials. I can't really do that on my PC, it's fun playing online with people on PC but nothing beats having a few mates around all with their own pad getting competitive and enjoying some games together.

Totally agree, which is why MineCraft is so popular even though it looks like [censored] (I've never played it)

Well said Jaxx, I'm the same, have a pc which is capable of playing these so called AAA titles maybe not all on high/ultra but still at a level that is better than next gen but as you say thats not always the point, I'd much rather have a game that plays great rather than looks great if it does both the it's win win!!
The trouble is half the time we don't allow ourselves to get beyond the mediocre graphics of most of today's games!!
Everyone seems to be more obsessed at how a game looks over the gameplay which is just laughable and all it really is is just fanboyism ant elitism!!
It's high time the developers AND the gamers went back to basics and have a think back to the good old days of the atari 2600

Hey turn it in�Me and toady like to have a little banter about PC v consoles and all though i agree with some of your points Jaxx I'm sorry when a game looks fantastic,graphical wise and it has the gameplay to match thats what its all about.

You didn't buy your Xbox one to see games no better than whats on your previous 360 so get real matey,sometimes basic games can be good on tablets and be a lot of fun,but we are not living in the days of the snes and mega drive when graphics were unimportant .

Nobody's grumpy its banter and opinions,its a gaming forum to put across what people think about games and next generation consoles and PCs.

Why did you upgrade if you wasn't bothered about consoles,i don't want to end up having a flaming war with you once again Jaxx but some of what you say is totally aimed at myself and you know it.

Problem with you my friend you frequent these forums not on a regular basis like the majority of us,and when someone has views and points that go against what you think you get on your high horse and say what you feel and have total disregard for anyones else opinions and views.

And I'm going to repeat yet again what does it for me,games that look drop dead gorgeous like the last of of,Infamous second son and watchdogs to a degree and many more.

If you wasn't bothered about graphics then you could have stuck with your 360 because there is little on a Xbox one that you can not get on a 360,and please don't say the [censored] Ryse game and Dead Rising 3.

Huh what are you on about? It wasn't particularly aimed at you, it was at the argument in general that comes up again and again of console vs PC. Mate you have always hated me and nothing I say you like I have just learnt to live with that. You never like anything I say even though I usually present it in a pretty clear and concise way

I didn't say I don't like good graphics, I even said I love the graphics on my PC. I just mean that sometimes people get too wrapped up in graphics and forget about good gameplay or anything else. When games have both then of course that is the best possible combination and is gaming at it's best I agree with you on that.

I wish sometimes you would just read my posts and not assume I am having a go at you, instead you always seem to come back to me with horrible remarks without actually reading what I have said. It's not a very fair way of using a forum.

Played the spider tank mini game last night Timey and oh my god what an absolute blast!!
The trouble I have with these type of games is I get lost in all the side missions and end up forgetting what I'm supposed to be doing in the main campaign lol
For the record this so far is the game of the generation for me!!
Graphics that are good enough to warrant being next gen and even better game play
