Indeed - £50 is really pushing it too...

£50 for a quality single player game which has a campaign of at least 30 hours and lots of replayability, full included content no DLC, and you know before you buy is good from the playable demo not such a big deal.

But in an era where we rely on hype from biased media, and the DLC can cost more than the game, and single player campaigns are not the primary focus anymore I think yes £50-60 is a joke.

Those games are priced at their RRP, if Origin and Steam sold at a similar price to say Amazon and key sellers then they would wipe out the market competition.

Games are sold between cost price and RRP, digital can be cheaper then physical copies on alot of platforms.

Seems someone should tell Sony And Microsoft that Digital copies are cheaper because I'm afraid there not.

Yea that's crazy, you seem to pay a premium for downloading. It's the same on Origin as it is on Xbox Live. You can download Fifa for £54.99 or go and buy it from the shop and have the actual disk for £47!

And you can get the PC version for £40...
