Going to play devils advocate here , Xbox live has not been without issues either , its not all fluffy white clouds and rainbows , as in , i have been having constant problems pulling up my friends list as have many others , and the controler crashing issue is also a new one since the last update .

it just seems PSN has had bigger issues with its online service as it has in the past and its a lot slower at bringing out updates and new features which is how it has always been .

And that has always been my main reason for me , going Xbone over PS4 in the first place .

I had a PS3 and a Xbox 360 and i know both had strengths and weaknesses and xbox live was always a Xbox 360 strength .

Drive club looks to serious for me but does look gorgeous , im a arcade racer , no place for realism with my driving style .

The Friends issue although annoying is easily fixed by a dash refresh (LT + RT + Y) , That's slightly less than not being able to play a game online.
( I actually quite often get an almost a blank dashboard screen up on my XB1 on startup (pins/friends etc not there and it says it could be our problem (as in M$), Playing games online etc is fine and Going into the store seems to fix this and bring all the dash back so it seems to be some sort of server issue to begin with, Never have any issues playing online though(well apart from EA servers crashing etc every now and again).

Drive club has very much arcade style about it so don't think its not for you,its not all that realistic and certainly is no Grand Turismo .
