It's great but I have to admit after a little while you forget you're playing on a ps4

Yeah, they did say the generational leap wouldn't be a s obvious as last time around. GTAV was a great game visually anyway, so it's just the resolution that should have improved. I said at the time that was my only gripe about the game and the quality of the draw distance. If they've both improved, with first person mode added I will be very happy when I pick it up.

Are you playing it in FP mode mate? What's the resolution like at distance? All the videos I've seen are markedly better, but they've all been on a small phone screen.

FC4 on the other hand is miles better looking than FC3, but then it didn't have too much to look up to. FC3 was proper choppy in comparison on console.

Some times I play in FP but when there's a lot of gun fighting going on I find it easier in 3rd person as it seem to acquire the targets better. Resolution is much better and so is draw distance, especially noticeable when driving

I actually tried to at co op with a mate who doesn't have the game last night.

Interestingly (to me at least) it is t shareplay based. I sent him a Key to Kyrat and it made him download a demo form of the game from the PS store. So whoever uses a key will get the full visual performance, not the streamed version. Only trouble was, I handed him the controller in shareplay for a couple of hours and that slowed his download so much that it didn't finish in time last night!

That said, he had little to no interest in picking up FC4 when I offered him the controller. One hour of elephant debauchery and now he's hooked!
