The weather update has breathed life into what I will say is quite a lifeless game without the rain unfortunately frown

Tried messaging you yesterday to say get your bum on and try the new update out but PSN messaging is still as bad as always and failed 3 times so gave up!!

Online the game still has it's issues but they're getting there and Driveclub is slowly becoming the game that Evolution first envisaged!!

I have to say the rain effect looks very good, Especially when it's being pushed up the windscreen.

The funny thing is, it's caught between a sim and an arcade thrashabout. I know that was their vision, but it doesn't sit too well with me. The super and hyper cars (in fact to be fair, almost everything above the hot hatches) are particularly realistic to drive and require a lot of practice to master. Combined with people thrashing about treating it like it's a skid pan simulator, it becomes difficult to learn to race them competitively. They have promised private lobbies, that is when it will really become playable in my eyes. Until then I'll treat it as a thrashabout like all the other muppets.

Will definitely have to have a few races over crimbo Jorky, if you're about. Still haven't met up with Rebel yet. He's becoming somewhat of an enigma at oooosh racing. Adding tonnes of points to the club but never appearing to be online.

I don't know if he's one of the original Lost Boys or just nocturnal . wink

Some of it looks absolutely amazing Giraffe, but half the time it quickly becomes impossible to see where you are going at all.

So had a lot of fun with me knew best mate Jorky last night. He's a pretty awesome driver, a league above me anyway and at least three above Timey and Swanny, (a.k.a The Deserters). He doesn't use his teammates as a handbrake either, unlike some club members who will remain nameless. I reckon he won 75% of the races and didn't drop out of the top three once..

The sooner the private lobbies arrive the better, then all the T- boners will only have themselves to play with. smile

No mate, you've definitely got the skills to pay the bills.

I tried your challenge yesterday but only got to have two goes at it, since I didn't check it until there was only about half an hour until it expired. It is a difficult track that you need to learn a little, one wheel wrong and you're all over the place. That said, I was twenty odd seconds off your pace and doubt I could get closer than ten even with practice.

We are definitely not worthy my stig like friend. wink
