get over it, I didnt make any of it up.

Even if I did, why would it bother you?

So steam has no streaming service, no agressive sales, the pc isnt leading sales, and more big titles are not been released or it.

Sorry for my lies smile

I might ask mrsaffron to lock this thread due to the derailing.

whats interesting is the comeback of PC.

You don't post any stats to back this up, but I would wholeheartedly welcome that. As I have already said, Project Cars may in fact turn me into a PC gamer next year.

all microsoft games now seem to be dual platform

I dont know this to be the case. Can you provide details?

and they now started developing directx again as well, plus with plans to add xbox live to the PC.

I have read about apparent plans to integrate the two, though to what extent still remains to be seen I believe.

The PS4 because of this will start to look isolated and 3rd party developers may be hesitant to do exclusives for it due to the market restriction.

This is where your post loses credibility, particularly as it's phenomenal success to date is not difficult to prove.

Sales figures for the last 2 years show PC outselling other platforms
I'm sure you are right, but again, some sort of reference would be interesting.

I think when the next gen consoles got released, the lack of BC made people reassess the cost of PC vs console gaming.

Conjecture. We know that BC has been an annoyance for you from day one. Why do you believe it is a decisive factor in driving PS3/Xbox owners over to PC?

PC's are already more powerful as well, but when DX12 starts been used by dev's it will be capable of destroying other platforms for performance and visuals.

And finally, the giveaway!

I find it extraordinarily arrogant to post so much personal opinion as fact, proclaim people who recognise that to be "trolling" and then tell them to "get over it".

You can ask the moderation to lock the thread, or, seeing as I was good enough to read and reply to your posts, you could actually try to produce some factual arguments.

Because you seem to have wandered off, pretending you have been wronged and aren't prepared to participate anymore, here is a very simple set of numbers that cast doubt as to your reasoning why PC gaming numbers are on the increase. I doubt it has anything to do with the lack of BC or the fact Xbox exclusives might all come to PC.

http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2015/02/14/ps4-x...

I don't subscribe to the site, just a simple article that popped up on N4G. There's a shed load of similar numbers easily attainable through google and many of them from analytical business sites, not just the gaming press that you believe are all being bribed to disagree with you.

I believe gaming as a medium is on the rise, full stop. I believe that owning a PC is taken for granted by most of the internet commenting public and that those who are buying their first ever PC, are also likely to opt for their first gaming experience on it, for understandable financial reasons. In my opinion, that very simply explains the increase in PC gaming uptake. It doesn't have to have anything to do with any of your assertions, particularly when the combined console market is expanding at such a rapid rate (see link).

That is an unbiased, considered opinion. Yours wasn't.

I wondered off as I am not interesting in an argument that you wish to have. You seem to have got massively offended that I think something is better than the PS4. This is my own personal opinion and why I think some others have followed, thats it.

Take a chill pill man.
