4k analysis with gta5.

My view is gta5 is very likely heavier than project cars.

I don't see the poking in turning everything way down. 1080 is more than enough for the average screen size. I would like the 4k capability for rendering across triple screens though.
But I'm only going off what I've read, such as 750Ti's struggling to get to 30 frames with 8 gig of ram on Project Cars.

I'm surprised how well the PS4 compares to a PC
The Modding community side of things is always going to be better with a PC I think Digital Foundary should stand accused of overstating the difference for the average set up. Most people just wouldn't notice the difference, particularly in racing games. If everybody had a 970 or 980, it might be less contentious, but they haven't.
They always say things like "When we look at effects however, the consoles struggle to keep up, with obvious and distracting screen tearing and a big hit on frame rates."
Then always follow up with something like, "Overall, the developers have done a fantastic job with the console version, showing just how far this new generation can be pushed."
Contradictory flannel.
The sooner they stop comparing the consoles with rigs that contain graphics cards that cost almost as much as the console itself, the sooner we will get far more objective reviews.
The only reason for me to get a PC is to achieve 1080 capability on 3 screens. That would be worth the investment for me.

Same here. The option would be great and I don't have to have a Thrustmaster wheel if I don't want to

project cars arrived too late for me to compare performance to gta5, I will see if I can tommorow.
I am already annoyed tho that there is 8 cars locked out due to exclusivity rubbish.

In anticipation of your review, I checked out metacritic. Who should I find there, but Timey's Russian cousin.
I don't think he's too keen either... My score is zero by simple reason: this game is absolutly useless for me and, I beleive, anybody has no reason to spent money for it. First of all we must mention simple fact: this game is NFS Shift 3. Differences with previous parts are insignificant. OK, there are some new cars and tracks, 2 or 3 of last are really new and good (the rest - the same as in all other games, and some good tracks lost). Buts its not the reason for owning it. Because to buy such product... its simply humiliatingly. Yes, physical model playable, although its not so easy to tell, became it better or worse in comp. with Shift 2 with all that "fine tuning". Picture eatable also, although it became even alittle worse, and these absolutly flat trees and objects now looks more strange. With all these the game could be quite good... but these ill for head people for the third time made the same thing: made mischief for their product in the same idiotic way. As I wrote just after Shift one release, situation with this is simiral to so: you taste somewhat unknown dish, you feel interesting taste nuances, ingredients looks to be of good quality and freshness, but in one moment you mark somewhat, from the one hand, strange, what you never met, but, on the other hand, somewhat quite known... and in the next momentr you with horror realize, that this special ingredient is nothing else than humans' or animals' excrements. You dont believe and try again... so, you run to lavatory.
Of course, I mean gameplay. These sillyies for the third time released idiotic hybrid of fine simulator and demolition derby. Really not so easy to believe, but its the fact. In all career-offline events AI cars not enough that goes by railway, dont brake at corners and dont try to avoid collisions. No, they just for purpose beat you in each corner, kicks, jumps, sometimes seems fly. And of course, you cannot to hit back, because you will turn around in a moment and, if damage enabled, even faster kill your car. Its simply impossible to imagine, what about they thought, making such "autosport simulator". For what all that "ultrarealistic" car handling, if as a result you find yourself in somewhat meat grinder, where nothing ressembles to sport... so, I have no more words. I tried career alittle, and there we see destructive idiotic elements, and if you not take part in scramble, all will be very boring.
So, we see tracks and cars, but NO GAME here. For comparison, in Race Driver Grid cars worse, tracks so-so, but its THE GAME. You will tell, that I can buy it for solo training and futher online playing with other players.... yes, I buy games first of all for it, but I really need somewhat warm-up in career. To feel deeply handling and tracks... in solo it would be too boring. And, you know... I just tried to play Nordschleife... but furious remembrances about shift playing there surged to me, and I became simply feel faint...
But there is another reason. It would be simply inhuman to keep guys in their madness with my money. They mad not "slightly", they really need doctor with electric shoker to return them to reality. Especially because they spent money, recieved from simpletons not for new game buiding (it remains the same shift, as I mentioned), but for reviewers stimulation. Of course, looks like, they simply cannot to change anything in one time made pattern... I suspect, somebody joked upon them, palming off this strange hybrid composition and resting them with it forever. But now they, looks like, comed to believe, that they produce really good game. Let others support this their fatal error, but I dont want my money works for aggravating of condition of these miserable ill people.
