Sounds awesome jorkila, did you build it yourself or get it prebuilt? reading all those specs gets me itching to build a PC, done 3 for myself before but last one was 2009 so getting dated. love the process of it all. opening a box full of components is like being a kid at xmas smile

Think you are right about VR, really don't see it taking off either. Would be interesting to try or to use occasionally but don't see it as the default way to game. I want to be immersed in a game but not that immersed.

As in Virtual Reality smile Epic Fail crazy Look back at this post and see.

Nobody is going to buy into this way of gaming, especially when you here some of the prices been touted at.
The worlds a big place mate, you need to start thinking outside of the box (or that sheltered housing complex more like, you old fuddy fuddy tongue wink)

In all seriousness though, I was reading yesterday (though I can't remember where for the life of me) that the Occulus Rift had already sold 150,000 "dev kits" I think they called them. The engineering applications for workable VR are endless, and when that starts to filter down into lower pricing, you may just need one less hat peg mister! wink

Luckily, that cant happen in my build.

If there are any screws I can't find a hole for, then it's straight in the bin. The Dr. Pepper approach I call it.

You and me both,we are not suited to that way of gaming never mind how realistic it may look one day.

Look at all the implications associated with it,like having that plastic contraption strapped to your head and the movement of your arms and body just like the Wii that everybody apart from kids quickly became bored of.

Its going to cause serious medical implications ,believe me,and people with other than 20/20 vision its just not suited,Nelly Magoo got no chance tongue.

You can not physically chill out and use a Virtual Reality headset without a lot of body movement and to be honest most of this will have to be standing upI just don't get it ?
