Yeah the last Tomb raider was great so that definitely excites me, shame it's a timed exclusive but at least it will get to PS4 eventually. So seems winter and next year will bring plenty of good games, about time as not been much to get me interested in upgrading yet.

Yeah these timed exclusives are just annoying and seem to bring out the fan boys even more and they just mock each other with what the other has, While the ones that don't have it claim they don't want it etc.

Take COD for instance, Up until the new COD comes out M$ had the DLC a month before $ony, The $ony fanboys say they don't want it with the M$ fanboys saying it's great etc, Now that $ony are getting it suddenly the roles are reversed and the M$ kids don't care about getting the DLC early and the $ony ones are saying it's great etc.
Having it happen for a game is just annoying, Luckily for me in this instance it works out for me but it could easily have been the other way round which would of been annoying.

And i personally don't care who gets the Cod Content first because for the first time in a long time I'm not been suckered in to buying Cod This year.

Far as I'm concerned the Franchise is dead and buried,even though Treyarch have gone from last to first as Cod Developers and leaped over the now all but finished Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.

I watched Black Ops 3 and i thought to myself,is this where we are going here, same old boring looking engine with nicked stuff from Titanfall.

The clue is the warranty at the end. I have every single part, nut, bolt and screw.....being put together for me by CyberPower!

I'm more the capable of putting it together myself, but time limitations, Kila finding a screw rattling around in his GPU fan, and the paranoia that one of the kids would touch something in the middle of the build and knacker the motherboard etc., made me decide not to risk it!

As I said, I have a defined use for it and may never need to upgrade a part or build a new one in the future. Depends whether this PC bug consumes me or not! I will however be stripping down my old Dell and seeing how it all goes together, the minute everything is transferred over.

Most likely with a hammer though.

And don't get confused mate. This is MY OWN Steam Machine. Should desirable games start arriving there. I will simply dual boot as required.

The cost eventually came to £753-00 (here comes the bad bit) + VAT to make a grand total of £904-00.

Here comes the good bit, I can claim all the VAT back as it's a work machine too.

To be fair, I wanted to buy their Vapour console style case. A big part of my build remit was to keep it discrete. I loved the Node 304 case idea from the beginning and after flip flopping between a few options and getting Kila's thoughts on everything, I opted for my original choice.

On purchase I asked Alan at Cyber Power (top geezer is Alan) for his opinion, as there was no CPU water cooling option and fewer fans in the Vapour Extreme (it costs about a grand). Now, I have bought faster memory because Kila was experimenting with overclocking his RAM after owning it for approximately 17 minutes, LOL!, and also followed his choice of CPU, though mainly because the AMD FX chip wasn't the best choice for a micro case build, unless I bought the latest low energy version of the FX8370E. And that didn't save me more than 20 quid anyway.

So, even though they sell the Vapour Extreme for 1100 quid with a GTX980 in it, he (top geezer Alan) thought that my desire for small AND quiet-ish, made the Node more suitable. His reasoning being the unlocked i5 4690k and faster RAM aimed specifically at overclocking (even though I don't really intend to bother with it) meant the water cooler was the better option. Shame because that Vapour Extreme would have sat lovely under the TV next to my PS4!

So effectively he under sold me which is cool. Also, as I said, I wanted discrete. So I asked him if they could leave all the CyberSteam badges off of the case and that wasn't a problem either. So all in all, after pricing it as cheaply as possible through Amazon, I reckon the premium for having it built for me is around 150-160 quid. I can live with that.

I can always play with the overclocking later if it takes me to do so (like Kila )

And as well as the free Intel game pack it came with (5 in total I think) he also chucked in Dirt Rally instead of Batman, as it wasn't available free with the configuration I had chosen.

Did I mention that Alan was a top geezer?

After seeing your card on Ultra I'd be more than happy if it matches that!
It's future proofing really as it's cost me less for the 380 than the 285 was going to cost. So it's a free upgrade to full DX 12 compatibility if you like.

Plus AMD worked on Dirt Rally in house, so I shouldnt have too much in the way of driver disaster.
