As soon as Nintendo announce there new Codenamed NX console at E3 next year 2016 there will be a new Sony Console and Xbox guaranteed.

As long as Nintendo announce a grown up console with 3rd party support banging the door down,anything else and Microsoft and Sony won't give a [censored] .

But a really powerful new Nintendo Device/Console that outshines both of there present units will force there hand.

And remember once the mighty Nintendo had virtually global domination until Sony came on the scene and then Microsoft.

But given Nintendo and there complete of of touch with gamers and reality i doubt very much they come up with a console that doesn't resemble another kiddie Toy box with the same old and tired games like,Mario,Yoshi and the rest of the crew that have only just kept Nintendo head just above water.

Without there 3DS they would be in serious trouble,the Nintendo WII U has been a disaster,even worse than the Dreamcast i would say.

Most Gamers are of the adult age and want powerful looking impressive games,not childish games that Nintendo think we want ?

Don't get me wrong,when they make games like Zelda and Metroid they are generally fantastic,but they are far to few and far between and they still living of there Gimmick that was the Nintendo Wii that nobody even cares about anymore.

It would be stupidity of the highest order if both Sony and Microsoft didn't reply to something Nintendo had coming to market,especially if it did blow the socks of both them units.........And no i don't see this happening.

Listen. Anybody other than an out and out enthusiast would be stupid to buy higher than a GTX 970 in my opinion. You just wouldn't notice much in the way of gains. The 380 I've bought is the sweet spot for the majority of gamers. The GTX960 4GB is it much more expensive. Under 200 quid for cards that were high end a year or so ago. That's why it's so important to get your new (or refreshed) hardware out at the right time. Most gamers will renew their card every two to three years maybe. If AMD don't cut the mustard with this 300 series, then those guys who have been waiting to renew their AMD cards, may go with NVIDIA instead. They can't then be won back for another two to three years!

The muppets who buy Titans at six and seven hundred quid are not bank rolling the manufacturers so much as the mid rangers. Not that I'm calling you a high end muppet you understand.

I reckon there will be mate. Ignoring all the fanboy [censored] and armchair economists on "Da Internet", the Playstation brand is profitable. They won't be endangering that by relying on worldwide internet infrastructure. It would be interesting to know what the number of PS Plus subscribers as a percentage of consoles sold is? We could then work out the number of console sales that might be lost by going online only.

Now if you said you doubt there would be a PS6, I would say you might be right!
