first the reply was to timey not you, you didnt have to reply to my comment not aimed at you.

Second after you posted a couple of days ago you wasnt happy I replied to him, I didnt add a new comment since then.

Third I am not the one who jumped up and down excited like a little kid after finding some posts complaining about poor performance with some hardware. There is nothing childish about pointing out a 290 beats a 380. Someone like timey may not be aware the 3xx cards are just rebrands and so it was nice to let him know that a 380 even tho a bigger number does not beat a 290.

Which by all accounts i didn't know and i could have easily been duped into buying something similar.

But all is safe as i have no intention of buying a Gaming PC this week but may be next .

It will have plenty of clout though,even though i don't know as much as you two so I'm all ears.....

I was telling Kila about a nice small form Lian Li case when I started to properly plan my build, but it was 40-50 quid more expensive than the Node 304. If money was no object and all that, I think it would have won the day.

It's meant to be quite cool too, but we'll see what the temperatures are like when I get it puffing hard on Project Cars.

The only problem is that it has trouble taking the biggest cards and fitting a big enough PSU to boot. It'll do me though and when I get a bigger case to upgrade my card (next year hopefully) it will make for a tidy little media/archive box next to the 50" Sony that I'm not allowed to game on.

It only had 1333 to start with and there was no price difference between the 1600mhz and the 1833mhz so a no brainer plus more headroom for overclocking

Has to be said it's not been without it's issue's already!
Was getting loss of display, as if the pc had turned off but it hadn't, initially suspected not enough juice for the gpu!
Read a few forum posts and one guy solved his issue with a bios reset and hey presto that's what I did and I was then able to max out P Cars with no issues.

But.... Playing WOT this evening I've had the same crash, restarted my system and not crashed since....go figure!!

It seems that quite a few people have similar issues with the 970 and there doesn't seem to be a simple remedy. Maybe this 970 wasn't such a wise choice (not that I can complain about it's performance)
