I'm using an 60hz LG 24" with a very low response time but I wouldn't call it a gaming monitor, it is 1080p but most are up to using 27" 120hz stuff now but they're not too cheap!!
Have had a ASUS VE278Q 27 inch monitor for 3 years, very happy with it, only problem I have had is that the display would occasionally go black and make a noise, would have to fix it by unplugging the socket. Hasn't done it for a long time though and no idea what caused it.
Both look like nice monitors think I'd go for the 27" one though as its only £25 more. I decided to go for that size so I could hook up the PS3 or watch movies on it, but even for just browsing I wouldn't want to go smaller now.
So are you getting into PC gaming now Swanny ?

If I was going bigger than 24" I'd try and get my hands on a 1440p monitor mate.
True.
BUT! If the plan is for a three screen set up, the 1080's are good enough. Unless I go for a monster card to drive it, my 380 would probably struggle with any more than that at high settings.
