No apparently i got to make some folder for time machine to work correctly,it does work but needs a little tinkering.
Everything else is running really smoothly

Nice. Only got a external HD but it can be hooked up to the router so think I will have to get around to setting it up properly like that.

They are brilliant devices mate,I have a MyBook Live 2 terabytes if your interested that does the same thing........

No thanks mate the one I got should do what I need if I get around to setting it up properly. Only really need it for sharing photos around LAN and doing backups. Mostly just stream music and movies from the internet these days.
