New gaming mouse

I am looking for a new gaming mouse as my trusty Logitech G9x has finally packed in, completely my fault as I dropped the damn thing onto the desk and the laser is intermittently picking up movement now.

I like Logitech mice and the way you can select hyper speed scrolling via the mouse wheel with a button [on some mice] or the slower segmented scrolling.

Problem is I just returned the Logitech G502 mouse that I bought this week as the scroll wheel is plain metal and absolutely horrible in use, finger slipping on the smooth surface and without sounding stupid 'too' fast at scrolling without any clear finality when scrolling to the top of a web page.

I have never held a Razer mouse and was wondering if anyone had any hands on experience with these mice?

I love the hyper scroll feature on the Logitech mice but was wondering does the Razer mice have this feature as I can't find anything related to it online.

Also I have large hands and the G502 felt far too small in relation to the previous G9x [not as wide]

Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated

Guess it would be a piece of junk knowing your type of budget,he's into his Gaming seriously Swanny so i would suggest something more suited to a Gamer and not a small child in the bedroom.
