Will the 390x not fit then? Not sure. I've been looking on Google and as usual there's a lot of conflicting dimensions. Not sure if it's down to inaccurate advertising or just third parties altering the cooling in different ways.
There's also the PSU issue. The 390X requires a 750 minimum apparently, but the Nano will run at 600. Not sure any of it is accurate to be honest, but 8 gig of 390x would be brilliant if I can fit it all in.

if I followed what the industry said I would have missed out on a lot of games I love but the industry said are terrible. So yes they are not all godlike beings that get everything right. Especially when you take into consideration the corruption of the review industry.
You seem to have a strange mental problem, holding personal vendettas, taking offense if someone says something bad about something you like and have a big superiority complex categorising people who dont play the same way as you do as casual gamers.
Your behaviour has even triggered people to apologise to me on your behalf and forum moderation, for someone who has past adolescence you are a strange guy.
You do have a problem, you simply cannot accept I think project cars is a lot better than drive club, something in your mental state says there must be something wrong with me if I dont like the game as much as you do. I dont think I have come across anyone else on the internet quite as stubborn as yourself, other than people who do it deliberately to troll.
Am I talking [censored]? well the fact you even refuse to accept there is no right or wrong if a game is good or not, you that is a very bizarre opinion that tends to only come from employees, trolls, fanboys and the like. The industry isnt an opinion, its some kind of gospel truth? come on wake up.
Timey e.g. doesnt like jrpg's but he respects the fact I like them, he doesnt start calling me names, swearing at me, telling me I am wrong and all the other nonsense, he just respects I like those type of games.

I don't need people to apologise on my behalf. You should now spill the beans and I'll set them straight.

I'm waiting?
if I followed what the industry said I would have missed out on a lot of games I love but the industry said are terrible. So yes they are not all godlike beings that get everything right. I didn't say they were, quite the opposite in fact; the review industry slated DriveClub, but the one thing they didn't slate it for were it's visuals. If you're not saying it's a great game with lesser visuals, or a lesser game with great visuals, then what are you saying? That the industry is corrupt when it disagrees with you, or perhaps only corrupt when it agrees with me? You need to be more objective if you want your opinion to be easily comprehended.
You seem to have a strange mental problem, holding personal vendettas, taking offense if someone says something bad about something you like I think implying somebody is lying because they didn't take your advice with regards to GPU's, then saying the performance they are getting must be down to some good "pixie dust" actually says more about your mental state than mine.
and have a big superiority complex categorising people who dont play the same way as you do as casual gamers. Not a casual gamer, a casual "driving" gamer. There is a marked difference and one that is easily understood by regular fans of the genre. That's simple objectivity again, but I can understand why you would want it to look like an insult.
Your behaviour has even triggered people to apologise to me on your behalf and forum moderation, for someone who has past adolescence you are a strange guy. We should meet up. You might change your mind.
You do have a problem, you simply cannot accept I think project cars is a lot better than drive club, something in your mental state says there must be something wrong with me if I dont like the game as much as you do. This denotes why you and I clash. I haven't said any of these things. I simply questioned your opinion of the visual aspect of DriveClub. Your reaction is what makes me suspect your bias, not your original comment. I have quite categorically admitted across the thread that Projects Cars is better in every conceivable way. It's not that I don't want to agree with you, it's that I simply can't if you refuse to be objective. You're comparing a 970's visuals to a PS4; your own stance historically on the power of the ps4 compared to a even a mid range PC, fundamentally undermines the argument you are trying to make here in comparison.
I dont think I have come across anyone else on the internet quite as stubborn as yourself, other than people who do it deliberately to troll. The problem is, if you talk the talk, I will call you on it. It's apparent how much you hate that.
Am I talking [censored]? I didn't say that.
well the fact you even refuse to accept there is no right or wrong if a game is good or not, you that is a very bizarre opinion that tends to only come from employees, trolls, fanboys and the like. The industry isnt an opinion, its some kind of gospel truth? come on wake up. I didn't say that either, but intellect allows me to be objective. As I said above, takng the position that they are only right when they are agreeing with you is either spectacularly naive or just manipulative on your part.
Timey e.g. doesnt like jrpg's but he respects the fact I like them, he doesnt start calling me names, swearing at me, telling me I am wrong and all the other nonsense, he just respects I like those type of games. I respect your right to like whatever you like in your gaming bubble. The variety of genres is the beauty of gaming. But when you start calling me a fanboy simply because I am capable of comprehensively takng apart your ill thought out and biased comments, you need to bring your best game or otherwise stay in your bubble and don't bother replying to me.
I'm glad we've got that cleared up then.

I have played ps4 games that are more visually better than games on the pc, so no its not just down to the hardware, but the point I already made to you I can only compare what is in front of me, for me project cars is visually superior, however like I said many times over I dont just play games for how they look. The main reason I prefer project cars is the way it plays and how much it can be changed to suit the individual gamer.
Project cars is quite a demanding game, as I own just a single gtx 970 I have nowhere near the max settings possible, I may deliberately turn weather related options down to see if it feels significantly different but regardless that would actually make it a wrong opinion as I would be artificially making the game worse to try and make another game seem better.
By the way note in regards to the weather my comment is also related to the sound affects and how the weather affects the AI drivers. The project cars dev's have gone to great lengths to make the AI react in the right way in various weather conditions with many patches released based on player feedback.
As I said before, this is my own personal opinion there will be many people who dont agree with me and that's good for them, everyone will judge a game in their own ways and not always agree with each other. We are all unique otherwise life would be boring.
There is driving games I have played on the pc which are aweful (again in my opinion), in this case its about the software, I hate the f1 driving games, I also own grid autosport on the pc which I think is a rubbish game, there is no bias here.

I have played ps4 games that are more visually better than games on the pc, so no its not just down to the hardware If you think about why the PS4 visuals look so nice in DriveClub and why you have to turn down the options on Project Cars for PC, you might come to the conclusion that both games push their respective hardware to the limit. That's why it's a pointless comparison. If you compare it with Project Cars on PS4 it is a completely different story, with DriveClub looking far better polished. But then we could argue about frame rate, so?
If you are going to compare apples with oranges, you need to be careful with your synopsis or go into greater detail as to why you came to that conclusion.
As I've said, I don't disagree with you as to which is the better game, only that "easily better" is a little misleading and I stand by that. More so because it's a driving game. When you are in the pack in DriveClub, jostling for position (especially in cockpit or T-cam views) there is no difference at all in the visuals that I can discern. Both have beautifully rendered car models.
However, if you are alone on a long straight looking at the scenery (particularly in chase cam), you could happily argue that Project Cars has better texture and detail. But in car, in the pack, visually, not physically or in terms of fps, Drive Club for all intent and purposes looks as good as Project Cars, no question.
DriveClub also does a great job with force feedback code, as nicely weighted as Project Cars straight out of the box, just with far fewer tweaking options. In that respect, the F1 franchise should hang it's head in shame. That's a part I haven't pushed you on, because you're not using a wheel, but again, objectively, that is a very important consideration in appraising a racing games physics.
Bearing in mind the hardware limitations, taking account of platform officianados and simply some peoples expectations being overstretched by repeated delays in development, the only fair lambasting of DriveClub was for the online fiasco. It's a shame, because it was great fun to play AND look at.

This is captured in 720 rather than 1080, but you would struggle to say it doesn't look fantastic and be taken seriously. The weather, the reflections and plenty of detail. It's a grand achievement in my opinion.
Post a 720 capture of Project Cars from your 970 and we can have an honest debate as to how the visual downgrade effects the overall experience. I'm willing to bet it's slight if at all. We don't need an argument, but we can't appraise them both publicly without evidence.
I know yours will render much more detail, but the law of diminishing returns and all that. If I get a chane this afternoon I'll fire up Project Cars on PS4 and do a 720 comparison, then a 720 on PC as well and post them both
