Resident Evil 5

After completing RE4, I decided to play this again (been a long time). The original (disk based) version isn't compatible with Windows 10 (due to Game for Windows, so the modified Steam version is needed). However, that too does have problems - on one computer the game kept hanging on the part where you get the crowd hitting a sack, whilst another computer has crashes in the system menu (when changing settings).

Whether it works seems to be down to luck really - so you need to be wary about getting it. It is generally fine if you dont change any settings

I hated RE5 because of the controls feeling "archaic" as you put it. Dying Light needs a revisit though.

Yeah they haven't moved on since the very first one on the original Playstation,best game in the series was Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube,that was a fine game indeed.

RE5 controls were quite good. It's RE4 controls that are archaic, especially as its mostly keyboard based...

RE6 controls are the best though, especially as you arent limited to when you can bop a zombie on the nose...

I'll bow to your superior knowledge mate, as I didn't spend long enough with it to learn the nuances!
