I didn't have a screwdriver here that was long enough (all my kit's at work) so I used a nail laugh

Just testing it to see if it worked :/

so seems the problem is caused either by the stupid touch sensitive eject button they implemented, or the screw becoming out of adjustment triggering the emergency eject, and this problem you go out and buy a new console. O_o

That didn't work frown
I even tried the turn it off for 3 mins. I turned it back on, it made loads of whirring noises, loaded the disc which it then said was the wrong one for the game. Then it decided it was the right one so I started playing the division until it ejected the disc again.
Basically it's [censored]

Shame, because what Mr WULLF said (awesome name smile) looked and sounded promising. Were you careful? He did mention that over adjustment would definitely make it spit the disc out!

If not then I would chance your arm with Sainsburys. I've always been aware of the six year rule, but never had the inclination (time consuming) to follow it through, mainly because the onus is on you to prove that it isn't fair wear and tear; i.e. you haven't been ejecting and re-inserting discs 200 times a day for eighteen months!

You could claim that all you've ever really done is play a digital download of BF4, so hardly ever touch the disc drive. Just for your info, John Lewis give 5 year warranties on their TVs, but only two years on built in DVD drives. They know it's an issue even if you hardly ever use the built in drive (heat perhaps?), so that could bolster your argument that 18 months is completely unacceptable.

Good luck Lieutenant! If you pull this off there's a promotion in it for you. wink

Look on the bright side, when now playing the division you can concentrate on collecting more beanie hats for your collection instead of actually doing the missions.you have also got extra time as you won't be picking Swanny up of the floor every 10 seconds tongue
