pc figures have 4k gamers at only about 1-2% of the market. I think only about 5% of people even have a 4k tv.

I think what we having now with the new consoles is 4k been used for marketing, it will mostly just be actually used for things like netflix, and low demanding games.

So no I dont think there is a need for a console specifically for 4k gaming, but remember these are also media centers. The neo if developers support it properly should give you enhanced visuals tho even if the same resolution.

In reply to a post by time2die:
I'm now back playing The Last of Us.

I started playing The Last of Us on PS3 but never finished it (9 hours playtime). Now I have a PS4 and know there is a PS4 version of the game with better graphics and playability. I don't want to start all over again, so I am wondering if I should just finish it on the inferior version. Is there a way to transfer the save file from PS3 to PS4?

It's such a great game I would recommend just starting again.. I played it twice myself and could do it again easily.
