Sony says PC not Scorpio brought about the PS Pro!

Makes sense, but still needs to be justified. If it really can do 970 visuals with the the PSVR, I'd still be really tempted, but I need more proof. If I have to wait until after Christmas to be confident that it can deliver, why not wait for the Scorpio instead?

I think this PS Pro is made for VR, which correct me if I am wrong the standard PS4 won't be able to handle very well? I don't buy it's to compete with PC which would be futile.
