Had a quick go on this at 3440 x 1440 resolution on my ultrawide monitor and it looks amazing.

My Tv is 4k and in parts it looks really sweet but to be honest on other areas not so brilliant,played about 3 hours of single player and i have to say the first episode wasn't that exciting or very brilliant to look at, but it really kicked of after about 90 minutes with Episode 2 Act 1.

Played Horde last night with 4 other random guys, all great players,got to level 31 but had to bail out as it was 2am and i had been on since 8pm.

Is that because you are playing on XBox though so it's basically just scaled up 1080p. I prefer the 3440 x 1440 resolution as it's ultra wide so you get quite a bit extra FOV from the extra width, On PC as well so native.

Yes I'm playing on the Xbox one s it changed the settings when it said i had a 4k TV and i can not remember what the resolution is but will check it in the settings next time i put the S on.

Can see me playing this for months at a time, season pass with the bundle which equates to lots of other goodies over the coming months, like 24 more online maps released 2 at a time each month.

Horde is even better than before and thats saying something because to me it was perfect in the first place, lot more harder than before i think but as addictive as hell.

Not been so pleased about a game in years to be fair and i look forward t playing this every single night, with or without friends as its easy to team up with others at the drop of a hat.

My first half hour on a Gears of War game!

Looks absolutely fantastic maxed out and sticks to 60 fps pretty consistently as you can see in the bottom right hand corner.

Still learning the controls, but what a great looking game. Definitely not a shoddy port, that's for certain.

Just like the initial download it's an absolute cluster fcuk!

It appears to be downloading the whole game again just for an update and doesn't seem to be getting anywhere!!

Well I left it going overnight and it's all updated now and I have my hdd space back!

It wouldn't let me load the game until I'd done the update. Annoying because I was only after the campaign mode and could have postponed it!

Anyway, it went really slow for 20mins or so and looked frozen, but only took around 40 mins in the end. No idea or warning of how big the patch was though.
