All joking aside
My issue is not my connection dropping, I've got 24hr broadband monitoring on the line and it only shows packet loss once in a blue moon and I only having latency increase when I'm maxing out my download which will happen to every connection and I never download while I'm gaming and it only happens around the same named player.
When I say bad/awful players I'm not judging it on just KD, I'm judging it by what I see them doing in game, I'm talking about the guys who on conquest snipe at the home base to a flag on the other side of the map or the guy that time and time again runs the same route and gets gunned down in the same spot each time because the enemy has the tactical advantage/higher ground etc and a simple flank to the right/behind and they can gun them all down in the back instead.
This is where my joke about COD noobs on BF1 comes in.
In COD they have a really good system about getting people in the action quick in that in their map design there are usually 3 ways (lanes) into each areas so that they have to come from 1 of those areas to get to your area so they HAVE to go the same ways over and over again, In BF1 the maps are generally a lot more open and you can literally come from almost any angle but if a person sees a stone path they run along that stone path even if it leads up a hill to where the enemy has a height advantage and they get gunned down time and time again going the same way where just going 5 seconds to the right and then running along and flanking from the side and killing all the enemy oblivious to you as they are staring at the sheep running up the stone path to them.
That's not me saying all COD players do it blah blah blah that's just my pisstake on the COD/BF fany boy wars, Hell I enjoy both COD and BF games (well maybe not the futuristic COD ones).
Just out of interest have you turned on the ingame BF1 network performance graph and the network performance indicators??, Would be interesting to see what it says during your issues and what your default timings are.
Personally for me I only really see the Red server one from the indicators at the end of the round like everyone does as its obviously loading up new map and then an orange one probably once every 3 hours.
On the Graph one I have one or possibly 2 go up a lot more than average when I come across the people I have issues with which looks like higher latency players, I don't know for sure if it is that or what causes it but for whatever reason the BF1 stats graph gets worse when I get close to certain players (they go up when you come across all players but the ones I have issues with are a fair bit higher than usual) and these are the ones that my issues stem from, Of course it could just be that my connection had a flutter during that time I came across someone but when it happens each and every time I come across them (probably talking 7 times a round) when it never happens around anyone else I tend to lean towards the fact that for whatever reason I have a connection issue with them as the odds of it happening random to just 1 person each time I came across them would be huge.
