VR

So I picked up the Samsung Gear VR headset for my S8+ and it's flipping awesome.......

So with that in mind I managed to get a PSVR for the right money and all I can say is wow!!!
Everything is so immersive, it's an absolute game changer for me but in shortish stints, although the PSVR is said to be one of the more comfortable headsets I have a particularly big head so I can't wear it for too long although an hour or so is fine!!

So far I've played Driveclub VR along with GT Sport and it's absolutely brilliant and once I get myself a PS4 compatible steering wheel I reckon it will feel like the real deal!!!

I just had a go at the VR mission on Star Wars Battlefront and it's brilliant, graphically and the depth is fantastic, you actually feel like you're in the X-Wing!!!

I just have to get my move controllers charged up now so I can play some of the shooting games properly!!

It's the future and it's here to stay.

Been looking at the new Samsung mixed reality headset. It's currently more expensive than the Oculus Rift, so will be interesting to see some real reviews before deciding which way to jump.

Until people get tired of it... Don't forget that Pet Rocks were once the future... As well as Cabbage Patch Kids... Rubik's Cubes...

Go careful it's not a good idea to have a phone that close to your eyes for extended time

Maybe in airplane mode it might be a bit safer??

To reduce your exposure to microwave radiation:

When communication is unnecessary, use Airplane mode.

When using Wi-Fi, turn off cellular and Bluetooth.
When phone is powered on, never keep phone next to your body, especially during a phone call.
When communicating, use phone in speaker mode or a wired earpiece.

As an aside, Marmite should be classified under COSHH...

Most of us have spent far too much time over the last 10 years with them pressed against our earholes, to be getting overly concerned about our eyeballs...
