The Future...

...is not here, yet... However, I am looking forward to the alpha test of Deep Rock Galactic tomorrow (or it might be tonight as the developers are 2 hours ahead) - ah, the joys of time travel...

The other thing is one my favourite 2D shooters (aside from Warblade, which I haven't played for years) Sky Force Reloaded, which as you can probably guess from the name, is a conversion from the Android game. Trailer is here

Sky Force Anniversary was free on the PlayStation Store last month. I thought it was a great game, until I got bored half way through with the progression system. At six out of the ten stages, I now need to earn all of the medals, on all of the six stages, before I can unlock the next level.

The only way to get those six extra medals, is to complete every level, and every boss, without being touched by even a single bullet. That's boring horescrap right there.

So I went from loving it, to simply not having anything like the time, let alone the inclination to continue playing it, in just one afternoon.

Looking forward to seeing how the Deep Rock Galactik Dwarves do their thing Toady. I await your video with baited breath...

No seriously, it looks like it could be fun.
