With the failure of SkyForce Reloaded, I decided to get this, and it is great!

There is a bit of grinding for new ships (but fortunately only with points), but then you can start with upgraded weapons to shoot more things and so on.

The only slight downside is the arcade mode is really for multiple monitors as it's a 33:9 resolution

Looks fun and a much better way to progress. Might pick it up on the laptop.

Its a bit expensive, so might be worth waiting a bit to see if its in a sale.

It is also pretty tough at times, but once you can afford a new ship you can then modify the initial weapons, which makes things easier...

Its just a shame the Arcade mode section has the large black border - but apparently its due to timing (and positioning), which is fair enough...
