Dirt Rally

Anybody who had the inclination to play this sim properly, will know just how incredibly difficult it is. I�ve been playing with no HUD at all in an attempt to accurately learn the force feedback settings on my wheel. Turning them down makes it easier to control, but destroys the immersion, so I�ve kept them as high as possible and it�s working. I can now finish top three nearly every time, without any crashes. Previously, I would always spin at least two three times (if not crash and have to reset) on most stages. After some drawn out jiggery pokery last night, I think I�ve got it set just about spot on. It�s a proper arm workout mind!

Big countryside

Had a few issues at the start with gameplay capture. It�s 4k/30 because I forgot to edit the capture range, but the game at 4k manages a solid 60fps with Vsync enabled. Horrible YouTube compression means you probably won�t see just how good it looks in 4k.

Don't know why but I cant play that video..it just constantly loads/buffers...I have tried different quality settings, tried in the morning and evening and the same thing.

As far as racers go I am only into arcady types, racing in GTA 5 is perfect for me

A fair few fit them. Remember, the car has to drive across the country from stage to stage within the national speed limit. Of the overall 900 odd miles of rally GB, that amounts to about 600 miles of it.

As much as I like the other rallies in the game, the Welsh forests are the only ones I want to perfect. Spent years sleeping in the car following the RAC Rally around Wales, with the odd hop up to Grizedale in Cumbria and the Kielder Forest on the Scottish border. It�s proper rallying.

Surely you've heard of the Allman Brothers, and they kindly let the people at Top Gear update one of their songs
