Belkin Wireless Router G

: Bought a Belkin Wireless Router a few months back, not
: quite as reliable as a wired connection - needs the
: odd reset - but not bad. Until yesterday when it (or
: the connection) died completely. Now it doesn't even
: show up in Network Connections and the router utility
: program is not forthcoming with any helpful
: information on what's up.

: Just trying to suss out whether it is a hardware or
: software problem. Thinking that if it was a problem
: with the router or network card, the wireless
: connection should still show up and the software would
: tell me there was no signal being received or
: something. But I could very well be wrong.

sounds like the wireless card has failed or been taken out by a windows update. Try uninstalling and re-installing that.

Thanks. It does look like it's the wireless card that has failed, tried re-installing but it can't be seen on the USB port.
