Unfortunatly what I really need now is another rainy day so that I can conduct some test-socket checks and quiet-line checks to see if the problem is indeed related to rainwater, but as luck would have it, its a bright sunny day outside and coincidentally, I have no errors showing in router stats on Upstream or Downstream.I'm doin a rain-dance as we speak lol...
Seriously though, once the rain starts and assuming you start to get a ton of errors, set your router up on the test socket with a couple of extra filters and dsl cables (so that you can interchange them) to determine if the fault lies within your equipment or with your ISP or Openreach. Either way, even if you start to get the errors again without any rain or moist atmospheric conditions you still need to confirm where the fault lies. Don't forget to try different filters, cables and possibly a different router if you have one spare when doing the check on the test socket.
I can feel the rain coming....
Good luck!!
