disconnections

generally my main computer is fine,speed is over 3.2 but the wifes lap top gets dosconnected on a regular basis [playing poker mostly] any ideas, she blames talk talk i think its the laptop

What router?
Is the main PC hard wired to the router?
Laptop connected how? Via wireless?

If the laptop is using wifi then that's where I'd start looking. Weak signal, congested wifi channel, maybe connecting to some other router? etc etc.
