Win 2000 connection to wireless for a newbie

A newbie needs help in the O2 forum - see this post.

Can anyone help her please - I don't know anything about Win 2000.

Main problem with 2000 with wireless is having to use the wireless card/adaptor vendors tools to configure the SSID and encryption. Once wireless is connected, the OS just thinks of the adaptor as an ethernet connection.
