BT speed tester part 2

[link to this post]

My ISP are asking me to give them the results of the second part of the bt speed tester, they have given me two logins [email protected] and bt_test_user@startup_domain but both fail to connect to the second test, my internet connection light is green.

Any ideas please.

dan.

Do you have internet access at all when using your normal isp supplied log in?

One point to make, Virgin.net (Virgin Media ADSL) use Cable and Wireless in some parts of the country, and the BT test logins will not work.

Thanks Mr S,
Yes I do and test 1 works but after I change it to the test_user login I just get a new window with "server not found",the other logins like startup_domain take me to test 3.

Nothing much else that I can offer.

But as its virgin.net then their ADSL service is known for congestion, and I've seen support refer people to this test when no real reason to do it.
