unhappy with Timico

[link to this post]

I opted for Timico thinking that iI would get a good cutomer service. Tech support were helpful but I was messed around for months while customer service lost me in their system for wireless and then advised to change to a package that meant that I ended up paying £83 pounds one month and an average of £50 others. My area cannot get higher than 8MG. I was clear that I am a widow with minimal knowledge and a child whose health needs means I need a reliable package and service. Because it was on direct debit and I had no reason to doubt the advice that I was given.. I only realised after ridiculous damage was done. I am responsible for not monitoring it more closely but they also had records of the inappropriateness of the package and I find it morally reprehensible that they opted to ignore advising me. I had been with Keyconnect (until timico bought them out)for two previous years on an unlimited package. Even when I requested the MAC it took days.

I have has similar problems with Timico. I was with Ke-Konnect who were very good. I recently made the mistake of moving my telephone to Timico and now my bills have gone up from £40 a month to £200 per month. I am currently in dispute with them but they are very slow to respond!

£200 per month!!!! Are you running a call centre or something? My bill for this month was a little under £12.

Re: At Timico we are here to help

I am disappointed to see two recent anonymous posts about people's customer service experience with Timico.

We are still a small B2B Internet Service Provider offering full bandwidth capacity for business applications at all times of the day, and Innovative solutions which help our customers network together their remote trading locations and homeworkers, all with a technical service wrap provided by qualified engineers.

If there is any Timico customer who thinks that we could be doing a better job for them, then we are all too aware as to who pays our bills, and I will personally ensure that a speedy and satisfactory resolution is delivered to any situation brought to my attention, including to the two anonymous posts, if they would like to get back in touch.

My E-mail address is [email protected]

Then you don't seem the right ISP for a widow to be on. Who sold her such an inappropriate service?

£50 to £200 per month! Blimey! Most of us are paying no more than £12 these days.
