I wonder if:-
The new rules will apply to adverts and any statement on a website that is intended to sell products or services.
Websites will be given until 1 March 2011 to comply with the new rules.
will get rid of false Unlimited claims?

That word "unlimited" is tricky... if I download flat-out, 24/7 for a month I can shift around 11TeraBytes.
There are some (including some who post on here  ) who might claim that that wasn't "unlimited". 
We need a new word...

What will be the limit of their powers?
UK registered companies?
Companies targeting the UK market?
.UK domain websites?
How can they enforce their rules on say an Argentinian Company trading under a .com name that is only supplying the UK market?

"Infinite"? - like BT Infinity you mean ? 
The decomposing equine of "unlimited" is permitted by the ASA in its current realm of influence, but they are reviewing the whole broadband advertising thing (behind closed doors).

I wonder if they're going to increase their capacity accordingly.
Many websites don't comply with the law on company details etc and nobody seems to chase that up - and that's the law rather than the ASA's self regulation approach.

The ASA do not consider websites as advertisements, except for paid third-party banner ads. So, an ISP can claim whatever they like on their own website, and the ASA won't want to know.
