Nightmare moving from Be unlimited to Plusnet Fibre Unlimited. After 3 weeks I am informed that
"Our suppliers have rejected our order as they have advised there are currently incompatible products on your line. Therefore, we kindly request that you contact your current phone and broadband provider to check if they have any special products on the line".
As far as I know I have not got any incompatible products on the line. Was on to BT in New Delhi. Nobody had a clue as to what I was on about. Please help me sort this.
Should Plusnet not be doing this job under Ofcom rules.

the acquiring provider has responsibilities, yes.
Are you using a MAC ? Your Be service could be the "incompatible product"

MaxDSL - goes as fast as it can and doesn't read the line checker first.

I suggest you post in the Community Forums. There will probably be a fast pickup there by one of the Digital Care Team.
Here is not the ideal place to get Plusnet reps' attention. The Plusnet forum here is reasonable, but the Community forums are best.

Its the digital care team that told me that there are "Incompatible products on your line" sure, but you need to go back to them and say there's nothing you are aware of in your home, nothing on your BT bill, you already have broadband, and it's their problem as acquiring SP to resolve it.

Sounds like a glitch with the plusnet ordering system, or the system they use to place orders, but someone who has a clue should be able to push the order through, It's down to plusnet (gaining ISP) to sort this if they want your custom, So a waste of time ringing BT bangalore Telephone & broadband service providings, did they offer you some free ring dings?
