Things that were either very slow or not possible before may be come routine, such as watching catch up TV rr buying and downloading a film and they use a lot of data.
Available speed on the current system varies a great deal, it has been as high as 6Mb for a 2 week period, but now and then I'm down to 2Mb.
Actually, the 3Mb is sufficient for streaming catch-up TV from the major players and Netflix streams without any delays (although I don't stream HD). Other streaming services, non-UK sources I suspect, do struggle though.
I will probably go for the upgrade when it's available, even though 5 or 6Mb is probably quite fast enough for my needs ~ hence my original question.
