Post Office Fibre

Hi has anyone recently swapped out the PO Router and installed their own? I've swapped from Sky Fibre to PO fibre (75MB) which had a good wifi coverage but poor pricing. I've bought a TP link router but I'm struggling to get the router connected to the Internet. On the quick setup screen on the PO router I can see the username/password which I use to create a ppoA configuration on the new router. I can see the speed on the new router as its hooked into the line but cant get internet. Any help would be great.

Which TP Link device? i.e. so people can check it does have the required VDSL2 modem built in.

On top of the VLAN 101 Mr.Saffron mentions, is there an option to use PPPoE , try that instead of PPPoA maybe ?

From what I've read PPPoE is for fibre and PPoA is for ADSL?
When I'm looking at the PO router config settings its showing both as set so maybe its only using one of them.
