Talking to a OR engineer today, and he has been told they may start removing copper in FTTP areas from next year, does this sound right?

Salisbury is in plans for PSTN switchoff and going to full fibre for it, so real copper switch off

Other trial is Mildenhall which will be a copper fibre hybrid area, with copper still be used for some people but voice being across teh broadband
