FTTP / G.fast n/a at local exchange

Where can I find out if/when these will be available? My current FTTC contract with BT finishes next month, and I don't want to tie into a long contract if there is a chance I can get FTTP fairly soon.

Shows all the Openreach FTTP we know is live, so if nearby you might be on a plan

https://www.openreach.com and its check availability can give some hints if on the way

If you tie in with BT on FTTC contract, you will be able to upgrade to FTTP. If its another provider for the FTTP then its more complex.

No joy from Openreach - nothing about upgrades due.

But I didn't know I could upgrade an FTTC contract. Thanks for that info! Right now, BT is offering me various Fibre with Halo deals, starting at my current deal + £8, which is annoying, as I have no need of their Halo stuff.

Ah well... I'm better off than many, I know.
