Status messages

[link to this post]

My ISP (IDNet) provides RSS feeds of data usage and status messages (originating from, I assume, BT/OR), the status messages are mostly of the form:

NGA GEA_FTTC NPAKRW Sydenham PCP 19

Most of this is obvious enough, but I'm curious about the "NPAKRW" (or whatever it happens to be in any particular message). I assume it's some sort of more detailed fault description and/or localisation, but can anyone tell me more about it, or somewhere I can look it up? Occasionally it's my exchange name involved, and even though I haven't yet seen any impact when that happens I like to know what's going on, just in case tongue

Ah, right... so if it's ever "my" DSLAM I probably won't be able to get online to read the message anyway crazy

Thanks 👍
