MAC Code Question

If I have a MAC code from Orange and use it to migrate to BT will my Orange connection be disconnected while this proccess is happening? Is there anyway I can get it so it isn't disconnected till the last minute when I start using BT?

Why? A migration gives you a few minutes downtime. A cancellation gives you a few days downtime.

OHHH! I thought you mean't that if I migrated I would be down the entire time like a cancelation. Are you absolutely positive that if I use the MAC code I will only be down a short while?

That's what happened to me. However, maybe if you're on LLU it might be different?

Some ISPs would tell you to factor in about 2 hours possible downtime on the day of transfer but many are done much quicker than that.
