They'll correct me if wrong, but while the ADSL side went earlier in the year, this is about the hosting side of things I think

F24 was patchy early in the summer but has been ok for a couple of months - at least until this week when I can't connect. Does anyone know how I find out if this is just a temporary problem or if it is permanent?
Also as they are not answering phone or email queries, how do I transfer to another ISP without a MAC code?
Thanks for any help here!

You are reliant on their wholesale provider playing ball

Thanks for the quick response.
So can any one tell me how I find out who is their wholesale supplier - and what do I have to ask them to do?

A quick search on this site reveals part of the answer to my own question (apologies I didn't do that first). NetServices are one of the suppliers Fast 24 use. The Netservices website reports they've had lots of queries from disconnected F24 customers but that they are still providing the service to F24? They also say they are not the only supplier to F24 (although they do supply my service). Ringing F24 has been a waste of time up to now, but at last, they've deigned to have a message telling their customers that the service should be restored by 6pm tonight. There is a breif apology for the inconvienience but no explanation - time to move on methinks.
Time to trawl these threads for your recommendations.

Don't know if this will be of any use, but in April this year Fast 24 's address was being given as

Fast 24 Ltd, Vision Park, Compass House, Chivers Way, Histon, Cambridge
CB4 9AD.

where they had apparently moved to earlier in the year, presumably from the Mildenhall, Suffolk address which they had previously been (still?) displaying on their website.
