DMT Tool query

[link to this post]

I often see a long red line in the top graph of the DMT Tool.

What is this for?

Also in the second graph, is the graph showing the broadband signal strength in grey and the noise in yellow i.e. the SNR ratio?

Thanks.

Isn't it the pilot tone on a Speedtouch router?

It could be, I'm not sure as I am currently using a Billion router which isn't compatible with the DMT Tool.

I think I'll upgrade to a SpeedTouch in the New Year so I can also use the DMT Tool.

I was just curious about the data displayed so I have some knowledge of what it is all about
